A few useful answers.

More about our approach on the About page.

What do I actually do?

Read the scene, then describe what you want to try. Talk to a character, examine an object, follow a lead, or try a solution. The narrator responds, and your discoveries become part of your saved adventure.

Can I try it for free?

Yes. Create a free account, with no card required, and sample the opening plus four player actions. The Library of Last Resort is available now. You can sample up to three distinct available titles in a rolling 30 days, each title once per account.

Can I stop and come back?

Yes. Your story and journal are saved to your account. Come back to read, revisit your discoveries, or resume when you have play access. Continuing after a sample keeps the same saved story.

How do people and AI make the story?

People develop the world, characters, puzzles and endings. Our team uses AI tools in that creative process, and a named AI storyteller narrates in response to your choices as you play. Art may be human-illustrated, generated with AI under creative direction, or a mixture. Each adventure’s credits describe its own approach. Adventures is fiction; AI narration can make mistakes.
